SEED - Sustainable Energy EDucation

tiene como objetivo desarrollar una educación superior y formación profesional innovadora, trabajando con expertos de cinco regiones europeas diferentes para eliminar gradualmente los combustibles fósiles y contribuir a que Europa se convierta en un continente libre de energía fósil.

SEED es un programa CoVE (Centros de Excelencia Vocacional) Los CoVE son parte del programa Erasmus+ que tiene como objetivo establecer plataformas transnacionales sobre, entre otros, desarrollo regional, innovación e inclusión.

Objetivo 1

Preparar a los estudiantes y profesionales
con las competencias necesarias para el futuro

Objetivo 2

Potenciar la innovación basada en las necesidades regionales mediante el desarrollo de alianzas
dentro de las regiones

Objetivo 3

Mejorar y promover el atractivo de la educación basada en la formación profesional, sobre la base de un conjunto coherente de criterios sobre el impacto regional y las habilidades

Objetivo 4

Establecer una comunidad internacional de aprendizaje como forma de intercambiar conocimientos y movilidad de formadores y estudiantes, brindar oportunidades a los estudiantes nacionales y, en última instancia, desarrollar una visión común
para el futuro

Objetivo 5

Establecer un CoVE en cada una de las regiones participantes, que proporcionará competencias profesionales de alta calidad.

🎉 Exciting News from the University of Western Macedonia - Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας’s good practice! 🌎 ✨We're thrilled to announce the launch of an innovative Professional Postgraduate Programme: "Modern Electric Distribution Networks – HEDNO(Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network) ". This groundbreaking initiative is a collaboration between the University of Western Macedonia and the HEDNO, marking a significant step towards integrating the labour market with the scientific community through energy transition and innovation. 🔌 💡The programme is designed to equip HEDNO executives and graduates from Engineering and Science Departments with advanced skills in the development and intelligent management of the national electricity grid. A total of 40 HEDNO employees and 15 graduates will receive applied training in state-of-the-art technologies, focusing on energy planning and transforming the national grid to support distributed generation and electrification. 🏛 📚 The launch was celebrated at a special event at the University Campus of Kozani, highlighting the importance of this collaboration under the new 2022 institutional framework for universities. 📍 This semester’s SEED Consortium (February 2024) was held in Kozani (Greece).📚 The project’s participating regions had the opportunity to showcase the progress made over the past three months in elaborating the Regional Development Plans for the Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs).
