The renewables industry is experiencing significant growth, with increasing demand and European countries aligned to accelerate the energy transition. The sector increased its position in the national GDP by more than 50% in 2021: from 11,806 million euros the previous year to 19,011 million euros last year. It is estimated that the renewable energy sector in Spain will generate 468,000 jobs by 2030.
Where are there more job opportunities? What profiles are currently in demand by the industry? Is there sufficient human capital? Are VET trainings responding to the demand?
The SEED project partners in Valencia, Universitat Politècnica de València UPV, Generalitat Valenciana and AVAESEN attended the II edition of EnergyRevolutionAVAESEN to find answers to these questions.
