On February 21st, as part of the SEED consortium meeting, organized by CluBE and facilitated by the University of Western Macedonia (UoWM), Prof. Dimitrios Tsiamitros hosted an insightful Good Practice visit at the Power and Energy Systems Lab, focused on electromobility.
This event showcased the innovative efforts in skill enhancement in electromobility, a pivotal area for the green and digital transition. The initiative, a collaboration between INNORA’s Electromobility Academy and UoWM’s Life Long Learning Center , in partnership with the Public Employment Service (DYPA), marked a significant step towards equipping the workforce with vital skills for high-voltage vehicle maintenance and repair.
This program not only strengthens the professional outlook for technicians but also aligns with national qualifications standards, demonstrating UoWM’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and supporting the labor market’s adaptation to the challenges of green energy and the digital era.
A distinctive feature of the visit was the use of a thermal camera for real measurements on an electric vehicle (EV), providing a practical, learning, and fun experience for the consortium members.
